This position is presales network systems
engineering support
with emphasis on switching products, both frame based and cell
based (ATM) and network layers 1 through 3. Anixter is a reseller of products
from:
3Com, ATT/Lucent, Bay Networks, Cisco, DEC, D-Link, FORE,
IBM, Interphase, Olicom, SMC, Xylan,
and many other vendors. The position involves working with customers on network
design, helping
train their staff, installing new equipment, setting up and running benchmark
tests, etc.
